Guidelines for the Practice of Endodontics During the COVID-19 Pandemic

07/10/2020

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of our lives. Dentistry, by nature, involves the dentist's close interaction with the oral cavity and the patient's saliva. Therefore, increased safety measures are being implemented in dental practices across the country to ensure that dental procedures can be performed SAFELY. Endodontic treatment requires the use of a rubber dam, one of the most important tools for preventing the spread of the disease in dentistry.

The Greek Endodontic Society has compiled guidelines for the practice of Endodontics during the pandemic. We are pleased and honored to have actively participated in drafting these guidelines. At our dental office, we strictly adhere to all the guidelines to prevent the spread of the disease within the community.
